The Sequel to Dissipate is pretty much finished. In order to gain some new while the game is uploading today or tomorrow, I created a trailer, with background music from the game, and created by me. Everything in the game was made by me, including the sound effects and music. Here ya' go guys. (Dissipate has Reached 1100+ Plays)

1000th!

Dissipate is still racking up downloads. It's currently reached a total of 1003 Plays, consisting of 943 Downloads, and 60 QuickPlays on GameJolt. I'm so excited, and I can check off another mark off of my 2010 Goals list.

Hopefully with the closing of the Jam (GameJolt) Features, or with my new sequel to Dissipate that is in progress I can finally check off the final Goal

I figured I should list some great quotes people have given, that I already haven't listed.

"Dissipate is amazing. ^.^ And hard ._."

"Very nice. I like the gameplay and the idea that it doesn't follow the "get to the door each time" routine. I wish it was longer, but it was epic nonetheless."

"The game itself was very nice, though. Hence the 4/5 rating."

"Flawless gameplay (no glitches), simple fun, and a nice way to stimulate your brain. Fans of Lab 14 will feel right at home."

Quote of Review :
"The only non-shmup of the bunch, Dissipate is a crazy-difficult platform game whose puzzles come in the form of riddles. Each single-screen level begins with a proverb. Read the words, then play the level and use the clues given by the riddle to beat the level. Expect some crazy things to happen, like your controls being switched around, exit doors not really being exits, and solutions to certain levels being, well, jumping into a pit of spikes. A great change of pace from your typical platform game."

Thanks so much. Later today, the game was featured on FREEWAREHUB.NET and a link to my games featuring was posted on CASUALGAMEBLOGS.COM

February 2010 Entry

This months entry will be full of links. I created two entries for EGP this month, which theme was "Rejection." I used "Rejection of Common Logic." and "Rejection of love." You'll see that as you play the games, that they both have flaws, but they both are good in their own way. The first is named Operation/Rejection, made in 2 Days, and it's been too long, made in 2 hours.

This weekend, the 19th-21st I participated in the GameJolt Weekend Jam. I created a game called "Dissipate." It's actually really good. It was made in 3 days, and judging is yet to be told, while no games win, 3 get featured, and IndieGames Blog features a couple.
